About
He holds a Phd in Usability Engineering and a Diploma from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Patras,Greece. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 1997.
Currently, he is a Lecturer at the Early Childhood Education Department at University of Patras. He teaches four courses related to usage of computers in education: ‘Introduction to computers’, ‘Advances topics and uses of Informatics in education’, ‘Introduction to Web Science: Basic services and pedagogical usages of the Internet’, ‘Design and evaluation of educational software’. He is also a Consulting Professor in the Hellenic Open University, supporting the course ‘PLH42: Special topics of Software Technology’.
His main research interests are Educational Techonology, Human Computer Interaction, user interface design and evaluation of educational software, usability evaluation methodologies distance learning systems, information foraging theory, user/student modeling.
He has over 60 publications in international and greek journals and conferences with more than 350 citations* and hirsch index=10 (March 2012).
He is a member of the HCI team of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Patras.
