About

I am a graduate of the Department of Education Sciences in Pre-School Age of the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. 

I hold an MEd. in Information Technology, Multimedia and Education (Dissertation Title: The Value of Computer Games in the Classroom: Qualities, Applications, and Evaluation of Effective Learning Tasks) from the  School of Education and Computer Based Learning Unit at the University of Leeds, UK.

I am currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education, University of Patras, Greece.

My area of focus is the study of social and collaborative interactions in MMOGs.

Other research interests are: educational computer games, educational software, virtual worlds, computer-mediated communication and collaboration, e-learning, collaborative problem solving.
